I just found the site and it looks great. How long have you guys been doing this? I have been wondering if there is a really good blog out there that does Athletics? What other blogs are out there that try to cover Athletics? How many people you guys got working on this blog? Keep up the good work.

Hey good articles. Question. I see you got some podcast and I’ve listened to some of them but is there a really good regular podcast out there for people wanting to keep up on the sport of Athletics and Cross Country. A lot don’t come out very regularly or just sort of fall into the realm of how the sport is being run poorly. I’ve been looking for one that discusses results, does interviews, and then give some talk on some topics. Got any Ideas?

dude I love your site… thanks for all the hardwork…
btw, if u wanna chip in, this was my prediction after Bolt ran 9.76 back in may prior to the 9.72.. I might be inclined to change my opinion since the US trials…

Recntly on July 20, 2008, you published an article on your home page titled “Dick Pound Is At It Again”. In that article you mentioned Lindsey Scherf. I thought you would like to know more about Lindsey’s case. A few days ago Lindsey was finally able to go public with her story at lindseyscherf.org.
While DIck Pound no longer heads WADA, he was WADA’s CEO when WADA decided to waste $100,000 to $200,000 to appeal Lindsey’s case to CAS for a longer 2-year suspension. Given the circumstances and all the mistakes made by USADA, IAAF and ASADA, no suspension, or a warning, might have been more appropriate.
Thanks.

Hey Jimmie,
I recently came across your blog and enjoyed reading through your archives as a fellow runner.
Over the past few months, I’ve been helping build http://www.ontri.com - a community-based website for marathoners and triathletes. I wanted to let you know about the site, and wondered if you would be interested in posting about it in your blog.
Keep on running,
Josiah

Hi there, I’m trying to find out how many runners have broken the four minute barrier in history?
Excellent article showing the first ten men to do the feat, but I’m trying to find out the total number who have done it.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me??

Hey Jimmie,
Just thought I’d let you know about an article I wrote that is kind of up your alley. I compared the marathon debuts of Kara Goucher, Deena Kastor and Ryan Hall.

If you don’t know Runnerstribe, it’s got a couple passionate people writing/researching/analyzing some cool stuff. I’m hoping to write an article for them every few weeks.
